“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” (Proverbs 21:1)
Yes, even wicked kings’ hearts are in the hands of the Lord. He is in control of all for our own good. He only allows evil to occur, so that we will turn to Him who is our salvation, refuge and strength.
With all that is occurring in our world today, our awesome Lord desires us to love and seek Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. Instead of being in fear of things, when we praise Him, we come into His presence, which gives us joy. (Psalm 100:4; Psalm 16:11)
Lord, help us to seek You more, thirst for You, knowing that Your lovingkindness is better than life. “Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.” (Psalm 63:7-8) Thank You, Lord.
