Proverb of the Day

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil…” (Prov. 8:13)

“And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” (Exodus 20:20)

The reason why God wants us to fear Him is for our own good, so that we may not sin. Fearing our Lord, having a dread of His judgment, is very important in order to prepare us spiritually. He loves us so much. Thank You, Lord.
